Effect of Different Crestal Sinus Lift Techniques for Implant Placement in the Posterior Maxilla of Deficient Height: A Randomized Clinical Trial

نویسندگان

چکیده

This study evaluated dental implant stability, vertical bone gain, density, and crestal loss using different sinus lift techniques (osteotomy, Densah burs, piezosurgery). A total of 21 patients were randomly divided into three groups: Group 1: treated a drill lift, 2: piezoelectric 3: an osteotome lift. The in all groups underwent grafting placement. An Osstell device was used to determine the stability by recording values quotient (ISQ). CBCT performed before 6 months after placement for radiographic evaluation comparison among groups. All implants completely successful, statistically significant differences from baseline noted (p < 0.05). burs technique resulted best groups, while demonstrated better augmentation. However, density showed no difference > successful lifts with good clinical outcomes at 6-month follow-up. group shorter surgery time, fewer complications; however, gain greater technique.

Maxillary Sinus Lift Up: An Indirect Approach for Implant Placement in Posterior Maxilla

The posterior maxilla presents several challenges to the implantologist. Implant dentistry has become an excellent treatment modality since its inception into the modern era of dentistry. When patients present with deficient alveolar ridges, it could jeopardize the application of implant dentistry. This problem is especially magnified in the posterior maxilla where ridge resorption and sinus pn...

Outcome of short implants as an alternative to sinus lift surgery and standard-length implants for rehabilitation of atrophic posterior maxilla: A clinical trial

Background and Aims: The aim of this study was to assess the outcome of short implants (<8 mm length) as an alternative to sinus lift surgery and placement of standard-length implants (10-12 mm length) for rehabilitation of atrophic posterior maxilla. Materials and Methods: In this prospective clinical trial, 26 patients with 6-7 mm of residual alveolar bone height in their atrophic posterior ...

Implant Stability in the Posterior Maxilla: A Controlled Clinical Trial

AIM To evaluate the primary and secondary stability of implants in the posterior maxilla. METHODS Patients were allocated into three groups: (A) native bone, (B) partially regenerated bone, and (C) nearly totally regenerated bone. Insertion torque (IT) and implant stability quotient (ISQ) were measured at placement, to evaluate whether satisfactory high primary stability (IT ≥ 45 N/cm; ISQ ≥ ...
